Without a doubt, the music industry’s “product”, the artist and their music, is somewhat different from an industrially replicable product, creative as that might be. However, the question is often the same: what’s the story? The telling of the story has been shifting to social media and so has relative allocation of marketing budgets, strategies to get to or act as influencers. Surely, it’s the experience that has to be unique and ideally reach real life, emotions – from online to offline – by combining all of the above. What interesting examples of brand – music – experience are out there, what are some instances of best practice, and, above all, great ideas?
The panel shows there are no limits to imagination, from up-and-coming pop music to indie rock and electronica, from soccer to fashion and lifestyle.
